Stopping NDMP sessions
You can stop an NDMP session if the session is not responding. The specified session stops processing its current requests and moves to an inactive state. This allows hung sessions to be cleared without requiring a reboot.
Before you begin 
The storage system must be running Data ONTAP 8.1 operating in 7-Mode.
Steps 
1.
From the Home tab, double-click the appropriate storage system.
2.
In the navigation pane, click Configuration > System Tools > NDMP.
3.
Select the NDMP session that you want to stop and click Terminate Session.
